Hi Adam. I agree that Clinton catered to special interests but I don’t believe that this is very different from what other Presidents have done. The point is that the level of vitriol directed at minorities like Clinton and Obama is higher than white male candidates have had to endure. I see that even in the comments on this article. I agree with the author that the emotional reactions that we are seeing in this election are a result of fear that is stirred up in people who feel threatened by a shift in power from white males to minorities. FYI, I think our political system is completely broken but I am not impressed that either Clinton on Sanders would be able to fix it.
