Thanks for participating in the discussion Alexainie I do not feel attacked. I do feel this situation is painful. I am strongly in favor of discussing feelings openly and of honesty but this does not mean that I wish for this person to be hurt. When I wrote this I did not know so many others felt the same as me. The comments that came in altered the situation somewhat from a general discussion towards many people identifying a particular writer.

I do believe in tough love. Its not good to enable people. If many people think someone is lying then that person should have the information about how they are being perceived even if it hurts.
