This election year is shrinking me
I feel invisible when someone who is not a minority says
Trump and Hillary are the same
Trump isn’t racist/misogynistic/homophobic
I am not black but I can relate to how my black friends feel when someone who is not black says
You are overreacting
Everyone else cares but they don’t make a fuss like you
The same thing happens to white people too
Why are you so angry?

That sexism has nothing to do with the demonizing of our first female nominee for President of the United States
That Mr Trump tells it like it is when he calls women dogs and a nice piece of ass
I am not judging people because their politics are different than mine
BUT please
Don’t dismiss my feelings
Don’t put up a wall and pretend that I don’t exist
Don’t invalidate my experience
I am`a woman
I am a minority
I matter
